Wide voltage power supply, power coverage in multiple scenarios
It supports a wide voltage input of 3.7V-18V, compatible with various power supply solutions such as toy batteries (such as 3.7V lithium batteries) and industrial power supplies (such as 12V DC power supply), without additional power conversion, and is more adaptable.
High current output, long-lasting and stable power
· With a continuous output current of up to 1.4A and a peak current of up to 2.2A, it can easily drive two DC brushed motors or a bipolar stepper motor to meet the power needs of toy marquees, printer feeders, robot joints, and other equipment.
· It supports output parallel mode, which can realize 2A RMS current drive and cope with high-power load scenarios, such as small robotic arms, security gimbals and rapid rotation.
Low loss design, high efficiency and energy saving
The MOSFET on-resistance RDS (ON) is only 0.56Ω (typical), which greatly reduces energy loss, reduces chip heating, improves motor drive efficiency, and extends the battery life of battery-powered devices.
3. Flexible control to adapt to diverse needs
Dual-mode drive, precise control to choose as you like
· IN/IN mode: Directly control the forward and reverse rotation, braking and PWM speed regulation of the motor through two logic inputs, and support two modes: fast attenuation (current through body diode freewheeling) and slow attenuation (motor winding short circuit freewheeling) to optimize current stability and reduce motor vibration and noise.
· PHASE/ENABLE mode: Specially designed for stepper motors, it realizes precise step control through PHASE and ENABLE signals, and is suitable for printer transmission, robot precise positioning and other scenarios.
PWM speed regulation, finer speed control
Built-in PWM input interface, compatible with 10kHz-50kHz PWM signals, can precisely control motor speed by adjusting the duty cycle. With the slow attenuation mode, it can effectively release the energy of the motor, achieve smooth speed regulation, and avoid the problem of jitter at low frequencies.
4. Multiple protections, reliable operation without worries
XTM5002 Built-in triple hardware protection mechanism to escort equipment security:
· Undervoltage Lockout (UVLO): Automatically locks the output when the supply voltage is below 3V, preventing abnormal motor operation due to insufficient voltage.
· Over-current protection (OCP): Quickly cut off the drive when the output current exceeds the 2.2A peak to avoid damage to the chip due to motor blockages, short circuits, and other faults.
· Thermal shutdown (TSD): Automatically shuts down when the chip temperature reaches 160°C, and resumes work after the temperature drops by 20°C to prevent overheating and burnout.
